Private Group Yoga

If you have a group of people or a friend/partner that would like to do a yoga class at your workplace, home or any free space you have, just get in touch. If you have an hour of freetime somewhere in your day, why not give yourself time to stretch, and balance both body and mind.

I’m Lindsay and I teach Iyengar Yoga in Chorlton & Wilmslow

My first yoga class almost 19 years ago had me instantly hooked. I liked the discipline and the practice of physical postures (asanas) which tone muscles and develop stamina and flexibility. But I was also aware of just feeling contented and relaxed after class. As you learn, yoga increases concentration and body awareness, bringing a sense of balance to both mind and body.

You can join any of these classes at any time by booking a place and sending me a message on my Contact page.

Everyone is welcome, men & women, all abilities, and ages even if you have never done yoga before. You don’t have to be flexible to start!

Always let the teacher know about any medical conditions, injuries, recent surgery or if you are pregnant before the class starts.

It is best not to eat too much 2-3 hours before a class or drink anything during the class.

Wear comfortable clothing such as leggings, shorts and a t-shirt. We practise with bare feet, but have socks & something warm to put on for the relaxation at the end.

Some equipment is on hand for your first class – just bring a yoga mat if you can (and it’s nice to have your own), otherwise we have some to borrow.
